I keep reading comments about regearing and such after doing a suspension lift.

I'm thinking of bumping up my suspension, from stock, 3-4 inches and getting some 31's. I assume regearing may not be absolutely necessary, though maybe still recommended? Will there be much noticeable difference?

greatwhite your crazy, there will definatly be a noticable difference, your gunna need to regear bottom line, i had 4.10s in my rear with 31s and a 3.0 and it was still sluggish, with the smaller engines regearing is almost a must unless you like taking 5minutes to reach 65mph ie. gutless

i just got new wheels and tires 2 days ago.. went from stock 27in tires to 30in's. it really did mellow out the power, still pulls hard but not as aggressive as before. i wouldnt mind gettin some 4.10 gears

something wrong with your 3.0 if my 2.3 can get up to 65mph with 33s in way less than 5 min lol

I'am not bullshitting obviously I feel somewhat of a difference in power, but it really isnt the least bit sluggish.

Dude if you think a 2.3 rolling on 33s isn't slugish then pass me whatever it is your smoking lol I have had 3 different tire and gear combos on my 3.0 31s with 3.73, 31s with 4.10 and now 33s with 4.10s and still its sluggish which is why I'm contemplating 4.56s but hey if you think your trucks not sluggish more power to you
