Obdi ->obdii ????

I'm looking at switching my engine from a '89 2.9L V6 (OBDI) to a '99 4.0L V6 (OBDII) what does that do to my interior systems/newer computer if it doesn't have connections to auto locks and ABS brake sys and other features, will it freak out the computer????? and make the engine run baddly or make it not pass emsssions etc?

iam pretty sure your going to have to swap interior wiring dash EVERYTHING... more or less your going to use the 89 for the body....

would that also mean changing out the brake sys to full ABS? adding autolocks? auto windows? changint the instrument cluster? or can I just "trick" computer by installing resistors in the unused plugs to mimic the absent devices?, but still the instrument cluster water temp oil preasure and RPM and Speedo? co those be addapted to work with the newer system?
