strange noise HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok heres the thing when i go in reverse and cut it to the left i get a clicking noise from the front end. it only does this in reverse and to the left no other time. My truck is an 01 ranger xlt 4x4 does anyone have an idea on what it could be???????????????????? :icon_confused:

is the axle easy to change or should i bring it to a mechanic. i am not very mechanically inclined but can figure things out.

sounds like a cv joint possibly, or something rubbing on the inside of your tire or somewhere on the drive line. its hard to diagnose a vehicle without seeing its condition or hearing the noise myself.
