i am wanting to change the vacum modulator valve on my 87 a4ld 4x4 am i going to have to drop the tail end down or is there an easier way ?

can be done w/o pulling anything just awkward, the beer fridge will be calling when your thru i promise you. mine went out and pumped the fluid thru the vent lines to my valve covers and would burn 1 qt fluid every so often (very often actually my trk still has bottles in it from where it dumped it once a wk...) and i ended up changing the valve, no more problem.

u can loosed up that side cab mount bolts and jack the cab up for arm clearance. i have a body lift and mine was easy.
