Going to be replacing my worn out ranger springs soon. What is the size of the nut that bolts the springs to the axle.

1987 Ranger 4x4
 
You remember correctly, 1 1/8" (or 32mm)

^^^ there i fixed it for you ^^^
28 mm is about .025 smaller than 1-1/8 and it fit way better for me but i couldnt find a deep 28mm socket, i made my own...
