Trans question


Are you sure you have a 5r55e and not a 4r55e? If they are both 5r's, then it'll interchange just fine. Even if you have a 4r I believe it will still work. Someone else would have to confirm that.
 
I am fairley sure that it is a 5r55e, but i will double check and let you know for sure, but I would also like conformation just in case I'm wrong and do have the other auto tranny. I am currious as to where the wheel went lol.
 
thanks for finding that thread. I'll watch this truck and if it stay's cheap enough my ranger may live again.
