This is probably the first time the 4WD was ever used for something other than snow or launching a boat in the last 12 years. It made child's play out of stuff I wouldn't touch with the Ranger, even with HORRIBLE all season tires (new 30x9.50s will be on soon I hope). The trail is more challenging than it looks. I did not get out to take pics on the really rough spots, but there are some steep hills with very deep ruts. It has been about a year since I hit this trail up and it is much rougher than it used to be.

Probably Firestone Destination ATs or ProComp ATs. Not sure yet.

Yeah, the Ranger will probably be up for sale in about a month or so, so the Explorer needs to be something I can use everyday, including on long trips.

It has the IFS suspension up front...not sure what the pumpkin is. I really haven't researched the truck a lot. I planned on selling it for a profit, so I did not do much research on it, but it has turned out to be a nice vehicle to have around, so I plan on keeping it.

That has the torsion bar IFS up front, but it still has a D35 pumpkin on it. However, TTB D35 gears will not interchange because the TTB D35 uses reverse cut gears and the IFS D35 uses regular cut gears.
