I'm replacing my fueler filler hose. Got the bed off tonight and I found that there's some sort of vent or valve on the fuel tank behind the fuel pump lines. Is that supposed to be connected to anything? There's a lip on the end as if there should be a hose there.

rollover vent (closes when rollover occurs)

Its just an overflow. It doesnt need to be hooked up to anything. But you should run about 8 inches or so of vacuum line off it so that any overfilled gas wont just go everywhere.

thats one of the biggest PITA things to hook up with the bed on. If the line is still lingering it will be resting on the frame rail. probably someone couldn't get it hooked up and just forgot about it.

On mine it used to up to filter like breather on the rad support, but now it just has a peice of hose on it that stops somewhere under the cab. When I hit the gas it sucks in air and whistles a bit.

Holy rotting frame rails batman!

You might want to shoot that frame with some rust inhibitor before putting the bed back on...

Thanks for the tips. I did find the hose it was supposed to be hooked up to, stuffed down in the frame. I followed the hose and it went up to the charcoal canister.
