well right now i have a 4.0 4x4 but my boss has his 1986 2.5(?) 4 banger with only 40k not ext cab on it with new tires and brakes on it. He offered to sell it to someone i worked with becease he just wrecked his car and i was like What when he said the mileage on it so i got thinking of getting it for myself. It's just 2wd which is fine with me, im just thinking when my truck craps out on me or just to have and learn how to work on it like a project so im not messing with mine. but yeah back to the point haha. He said it has 40k(it was his dads) on it and new tires and brakes and was thinking of selling for like $1000 and this seemed good to me. it's old but with low miles and could last many years and become a project or somthing for me. I did not get to look at it but i have seen it acouple times and it seems like a good deal he said it needed some body work(but this is coming from some one who gets new cars).
Any advice on something of this age. Thanks
