In another thread, I mentioned that the Nikon D40 & D60 needed AF-S or AF-I lenses. I also mentioned that I had the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 AF-D lens, which
required an autofocus motor in the camera body. This is a phenominal lens, known for it's sharpness, and creamy smooth OOF regions in your image.
It's an extremely fast lens with a huge aperture (f/1.4).
