I have a 99 ford ranger that i want to take the auto locking hubs out and replace them with manual locking hubs, what tools do i need for this job, and what brand should i go with, and where can i find them?

Try doing a search for AVM manual locking hubs. For your ranger I think that might be your only choice. It sounds like you can get the set for around $130ish online. I am sure several people on here have posted what tools you need. But my guess would be a torque wrench and a special socket is the only special tools you will need.

Swiss army knife, potting soil and bailing wire and you will be goos to go.:icon_thumby:

WTF? I think only chuck Norris could use those items to fix a truck. Actually, Chuck Norris doesnt fix trucks, he dares them to break down!:icon_twisted:
