93-97 Ranger Specs 98-112hp?

Anyone know why the hp specs usually say 98-112hp?
Do some 2.3 models have 98hp and others 112?
Or for some reason they were not able to accuratley measure the hp?:icon_confused:
 
re

earlier yrs like 85 to 90 were 98hp. later yrs 95 to 97 were 112hp. look on the history of the 2.3 on this forum it will tell you.
