ok well i dont know which it is my clutch has to go all the way to the floor before it feels like it disengages and its hard to shit i have to shut the truck off to put it in first or reverse and when the trucks off it shifts smooth as butter but with it running its hard to shit into any gear unless its cold and the thing i dont understand is if my slave blew why is my resavorer still full so anyone with any answers please help thanks
 
try bleeding the system before you do anything. There is a how to on the technical library page under manul transmissions.
 
sounds like a bad slave or pilot bearing to me.
 
its a slave cylinder. does it go into gear esay upon start up? and get worse as it warms? if sitting with clutch in, with it shifted into first, does it wanna roll foward as if you were letting up on the clutch?
 
My 3/4 ton started doin that and the only thing that was wrong with it was air in the system after I bleed it, it was fine.
