ok hopefully I will give enough info to get an answer, so here it goes.

I have a 2003 FX4 LevelII, and I got the truck with no owners manual, and the fuse box doesn't have a diagram on the cover. I also can not for the life of me find my Hayne's manual right now. What I need to know is which fuse is for the tail/marker lights?? I am gonna add a couple (6-8) extra lights on that circuit and was thinking maybe of upping the amp rating on that fuse by maybe 5-10 amps, or do I need to bother with that at all??

Thanks (in andvance) for any info.

holy shit dont even think about it. NEVER REPLACE a fuse with one of higher amperage. Thats asking for a fire lol. The fuse is there to protect the circuit from too much amperage, adding lights just puts more draw on said circuit.unless your talking like extra led markers or somthing? Leds would be the way to go, they dont need much amperage..somthing like milli-amps, i forget the # exactly. if your gonna have high amp draw, add a relay and use one of the tail light wires to energize the relay, and that can run your extra lights. Never, and i mean never use a higher amp fuse, its not good.

yea it would be a couple of clearance lights along the edge of my hard tonue (sp?) cover. they are not L.E.D. but I was gonna use an extra plug I came up with to hook to the trailer harness, and then just unplug if I have to pull a trailer. probably should have mentioned that in the first post.

so will that make much difference then since the circuit can already take a trailer??

thanks again!
