Hello all.

Thought I would introduce myself. After going through 4 cars, 3 of which being brand new, in the last year, I am back into a Ford product.

My means of transportation now is a '94 4x4, 5 spd, Ranger XLT with the 3.0L. Its not a bad little truck and for the price, I couldn't beat it!

I got the truck with 42,000 miles on it. Currently, it has 46,xxx and runs like a champ. Changed the cap, rotor, plugs, wires and fuel filter then took it to the Outter Banks and saw 26 mpg with a bed full of stuff. It still has the OEM Ford battery!

Thought I'd share and show a few pics of it. It could use a little more TLC but I'll probably pay someone to go over it and give it a good buff.

I'm going to enjoy not having car payments.:yahoo:

The reason your truck runs like a champ is because it's a Ranger:) I love the 3.0. it's probably the most reliable engine ford put in the ranger, and my favorite. Remember that engine loves high Rpm's. That 5spd will last you a while too. But you'll be modifying your truck in no time hanging around here. Nice Truck!!

Wecome to TRS. My 3.0 Ranger is very dependable, even though it is old. My maintainance bill for last winter was only a couple hundred dollars. That is less than one car payment!
