Anyone try Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis wheels? 16"ers have been around since some time in the 90s. And 17" for a year or two. The Marauder I think had 18" wheels though I think it was only made for one year.
looks like the bolt pattern is right, also on the lincoln town car should fit too. also on the crown vic i checked the offset looked really close to what it should be. keep us up to date if you try another set of wheels
I have a 1994 Town car in the driveway can try to swap a wheel onto my 1992 Rangerl tomorrow and let people know however might be a better look if it was a black steel wheel from say a CV Police Package rather than the BBS style web wheels I have on the town car LOL
They will fit. There used to be a mid-80's 4x4 Ranger around here with Town Car turbine wheels that fit with the hub.
My personal choice for a 4x2 Ranger would be the 4x4 16" deer hoof rims like my Sport Trac and a lot of Explorers have, I think those would look good with a set of 235/60-16's.
Up to the mid or late '90's the Towncar wheels fit fine.
Not only do the front lockouts (d28 or D35) fir through the center of the
rim, but the towncar "basket weave" wheel hubcap will go on OVER the
lockout.
I have two sets of the towncar basket weave rims, one is bare and sitting
in my rim collection, the other set is on my AWD Aerostar.
