Hey guys, I just bought a pair of off-road lights for my 95 ranger.. I want to mount them on top of my roll bar. I know hoy to wire them and all, but I don´t know hot to get the wires from the lamps to the battery and inside the cab to reach the switch. Underneath the chassis?? through the dome light (with some type of "masking" the cables) ? Wanna hear opinions...

Thanx!

Well, I usually go through the firewall when I'm running wires. On most vehicles, it's easy enough to find a pre-existing hole and use that. On my 2003, I had to drill a couple holes to run the wires. Drill a big hole, put a grommet in there and stick the harness through.

I ran my wire down the rollbar, between the cab and bed, down underneath up against the frame kind of following the emergency brake, up into the engine bay, then I run all my wires through the firewall, through the rubber surrounding the steering shaft. Just slice a small hole in the rubber, easier than drilling.

ya, run the wires tight to the frame and you should be fine. Dont forget a relay eh.
