i need help.

I have a 81 kawasaki 550 and it doesnt start.

it rode it one day last summer and then went to start it the next day and it wouldnt. it didnt have any power at all. the battery was fine and i dont know what to do.

i have it apart looking for fried wires and loose connections but i cant find any.

Can anyone help me. Thanks
 
no electrical power?
check the main fuse, it should be under the seat in a small fuse box, could be under the side covers

it will probibly be a 20 amp buss fuse(glass tube type)
 
Yes, check the Fuses, under the seat, or, under one of the side covers.

Do you have any power at all? Does the headlight lights n such come on when you turn the key?
 
i got nothing. no headlight no neutral light no oil light. im gonna check the fuse though.
 
hey guys. thanks for confirming that i am retarded. i replaced the fuse and it has power now. thanks for the help.:icon_thumby::beer:
