So most of use that lived in the path of the ice storm. Heres a few pics of my place of work and home of the raining sleet and freezing rain. 10*F this morning (1-28-09), but most of the sleet and ice will be gone by Friday when temps hit the 40's and up.

The Ranger in the evening after all the sleet storm.

The place I work at.

My place with the little slope and little ice covered hill that my Ranger conqured going backwards in reverse with no weight in the bed. Took a few trys.

thats all you got? we're getting 10-16" of snow and its not supposed to stop snowing until tomorrow. with lovely highs in the lower 20's and lows well below 0.... gotta love a northern vermont winter

Nice looking truck by the way. Anybody tell you lately that "Winter Sucks". Saw on the news that the middle of the country was getting hit hard. Dealing with some snow is one thing but ice at the same time is no fun. We up here (Wisconsin) might make a high of 13 degs today.

I did mention it was sleet, not snow (not to be confused since they are both white). It came with freezing drizzle and then sleeted all night. Which made a nice hard packed ice block on the roads. Monday afternoon was the worst since the roads were just black ice and very little traction. The sleet improved traction, but not much.

I still have the tree. Its just now a few major limbs shy of its former self.

More of the last year freezing rain tree destoyer.

Oak tree, the branches should be pointing straight up

Neighbors tree, could not bear the weight. Split a major branch off.

Corner yard pine tree, trunk split down the center. Had to cut it down. Thou it made a few other people happy because they claimed it blocked the view of the intersection.

Many companys make them. Cragar, American Racing, Pacer. They are the 320c model (Quick Trick I). I got them from Jegs.com for $35 about 2 years ago. One word of advice, if you do get them, have them clearcoated or clear plastic coated. The chrome is cheap, and rust eats through them. I'm actually looking for the stock 95-97 Ranger 4x4 rims to replace the Cragar's.

we got 6"-8" locally. i had to pick dad up and drive him home from town, he took the F250 in for trans work, E4OD blew a front seal. bad time for the plow truck to be down. heres a pic i took after i drove into my front yard, you can see i was pushing snow with the front differential. today was a 4wd day no doubt.

and a couple of the truck, glad we didnt have the ice storms, did have freezing rain earl in the a.m.
