so I checked my oil filter which I just put a brand new one in about 1000 miles ago. One side of it had a good amount of oil on it. Its coming from the hose that runs from the intake tubing (which goes to the throttle body) to the oil fill cap(just underneath). Is this a major concern? I wiped off what I could but it did this on my last air filter too so I put this one in to see if it would keep doing it and it is. This has fresh oil, filter, fuel filter, cooling system is all brand new.

you are talking about your AIR filter and not your oil filter. YES this is near normal. The oil is coming from the vac system that cleans the excess pressure out of the engine. If that engine has a pcv it should be replaced with a new one.
Big JIm :icon_idea:

Check your oil level... overfill can cause oil carry-over into the air cleaner. Also.. pull that hose and clean it out. Might have gotten some oil in it when refilling after the oil change.
