As far as I know they came from a saw and a welder...
I am guessing that becuase he had a thread and he was showing his front bumper biuld up. I would think he made those at the same time.

Ya, pato I remember back to those days too. Truck has come a long way. I really like the stance your truck has, nice and wide and not to high. Good work man.
One question, how do you have 125:1 crawl. I know you have a doubler. Is it something other then a 1350/1354, maybe something with a lower low range to get you to 125?

Todd...thanks. The idea was not to elevate de GC, in fact with the FW axles, is better than before :;
My doubler setup is a D20 (Bronco) and the BW 1354.

Well after a few month (and after a D44 pig head breakage) I started the rebuild...
The idea is to change the front susp from 4link to 3 link, and 14" bilsteins. I think is going to flex better. Another thing, is the UPG from 36x13.5 iroks to 38,5x14,5 TSL SX`s...
I´m little worried about the steering, but...we`ll see...

I used another D44, and retubed again. BUT now , cuttin, reinforcing and welding the tubes, and not extracting the tubes from the pig head..:rolleyes: and exhange them from one side to another..and used the CrMo shafts, the ARB, and the knuckles from the dead axle..

Hey PatoV6--Great to see you again! Lost track of you after the provider upgrade. I want to complete the same SAS you did using a GM front axle with passenger-side drop, but switching the tubes and axle shafts...how did that work out? Would you do it again? What about cost--would it be less expensive to buy a Dynatrac?

Well...after the last rock crawling ride, I realized that 126.5" of wheelbase is too long for that kind of routes. So, I´ve decided to short it. Yeah..I know is not so beatiful, but I´m looking for performance on the trail. So the objective is 115". This is my new project:

Did you have to do the body lift to clear the engine or rear suspension, or is it just to keep the COG low? I know its likely very tight to get the multilink under the full steel bed!
