carburated or fuel injected?

so i'm putting a 2.3 in my four wheel drive 84 and was wondering if i should use the fuel injection off of the parts truck or just keep running the carburator set up?
 
better mileage/power options with FI. however carbed is cheaper and much easier. I believe there are some head differences though so check the tech sections for write-ups
