future 31X10.50

Right now on this ranger I just got, I've got 30X9.50 balding tires. I am going to buy some 31X10.50 tires soon and was trying to decide what tire to buy. I need something that preforms well in the snow because I get a lot of it up at where I live. Also it needs to last a while, I would like to get some nice miles out of my next set of tires. And it should preform ok in other offroad situations when I am camping or fishing or exploring. I had in mind BFG all terrains or maybe getting the BFG mud terrains and having them siped. Anyone here have any thoughts?

the pro comp A/T's have a 50,000 mile tread wear warranty and the Severe Weather Rating which would work well in snow. i dont trust any shop to honor tread wear ratings but it is nice to have the manufacturer back their tires up with it.

if you decide to go with M/T's pro comp claims to be the only M/T to feature siping. (dont quote me on that, its what pro comp claims). although my swamper ssr's were siped, maybe swampers arent considered a M/T.

Firestone Destination AT. They are good in the ice/snow, offroad and on the highway. They also have excellent treadwear (from what I've heard, anyhow) though I haven't had mine long enough to say so from experience. The destination MT's are also super-sexy looking tires.

GoodYear Wrangler Silent Armor ...I had a pair on my former truck, made lots of winter trips through the rockies and they were awsome. They wore good considering the truck was 8000lbs and the offroad traction was good for what it was...better than most street tires anyway.

I really reccommend these, my former truck was a 96 F350 Powerstroke. I picked my set up for $50 a tire used at fountain tire, with about 85% tread on 3 and 99% on the 4th. Great tires!

I highly recommend the General Grabber AT2's and the Procomp AT's.

Both are sever weather rated, both have a ton of sipeing.

I'm running a set of LT265/75r16's on my sport trac and love them in the snow. We had about 14" fall over night.
