My new truck came with NIB Rancho RS5000 front shocks. The previous owner said they have been sitting in the boxes for years. When I checked them out they have tons of compression and rebound damping but they don't return to original length. Are these things not gas charged? Sorry for newbie question, my only comparison is to various motorcycle shocks and forks.
