Ok so i was changing my drive shaft and i put it into neutral and moved my drive shaft to get to the other bolts. When i put it back into gear (2nd) and loosed the other bolts, it wouldn't come out. I put my new drive shaft back on and drove around a little bit to c if it would brake loose. It didn't so i put it into 4low and slammed the throttle down to c if that would brake it loose and that didn't. 4th gear has been out for over a year do to bad sycro's but that should t have ne thing to do wit it. Is their a way of braking it loose or do i have to get a new transmission.

that usually happens to me, but only when im in 2 low and am really hard on it. i usually pull the top plate off the tranny and take a long screw driver and set the shift rods back to neutral. have a friend lay under the truck and try to turn the d-shaft. once it spins the tranny is back in neutral. then simply just reassemble the top plate. lmk
