truck is surging

when i accelerate in any gear my truck surges not too bad, but enough to notice, what could cause this?
 
my 98 did that alittle before the mass air sensor went out, but thats just a shot in the dark coming from me

As for what really could be causing the problem, it really could be a number of things. Since your truck is a 95 you do not have OBDII. Do you have a CEL on? Also if you do, please post the code(s).

Next when was the last time your truck had a tune-up such as spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, etc.? I would start with the basics before your start replacing sensors blindly. No offense to the others that posted, but you could spend a few hundred before you get the right one, when all it really needs is a new set of spark plugs. Depending on how mechanically inclined you are, it may be easier just to take it to a shop to have it diagnosed properly and then fix it yourself. Its a win-win, you spend $80 and know exactly what is wrong but save money on the repair, and the shop gets 1 hour of labor to tell you what could take them 10 minutes.

yeah my CEL is on but it has been on for a while now, but it wasnt surging when it came on
