i have a 94 ranger ex cab xlt 4.0 automatic with the A4LD transmission. My problem is it hesitates up shifting. Once the truck gets around 3 grand and should up shift it hesitates until i let of the gas a little then it up shifts. Ive been searching around here for a few days and have all ready checked the vacuum modular. and re adjusted the kick down cable and no luck. i also changed the filter and replaced the fluid(thinking if its a stuck valve it will free it up) and still nothing. I'm at a loss with this truck. If anyone has had this same problem some in-site would be great. also if it is a stuck valve how hard would it be to pull the valve body off to check? i looked up the how to on the explorer forum site and it looks pretty complicated
