The girlfriends school is having an 80's dance. I was born in 88 so I don't know what the hell the style was in the eighties. So, I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what to wear to this "dance".

I've already considered dressing like dude off night rider, and magnum p.i. but idk. Ideas please?

I would find a band or two that you recognize, google them, find a picture and mimmick that as well as you can.

I was born in 85 so i really do not know what the style was back then, not good i presume!
 
Lmfao I think I'll pass on dressing like MJ. Besides, wasn't he just a tad bit darker in the 80's?

Think about punk rock bands with hair extensions and lipstick.

Parachute pants and break dancing.

Members only and denim jackets.

Big hair.

Don't forget to "peg" your pants and wear those leather penny loafers with no socks.

That's all I remember from the 80s, late 80s actually.
 
Get a Flock of Seagulls hair dew. You could even try to dress like them.

Get a mullet wig, ripped jeans, a band shirt, and a leather jacket. You'll be all set. Oh, and Aviators.
