Elec. door locks, cruise control

When the engine starts, the doors automatically lock. This should not be. This feature was added to sedans in '03. Also, the cruise control operates OK but the clicker sound when pressing buttons has quit working. Are these two items related? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
