the tag on my front diff to id it, is missing. when I call the dealer to inquire about parts,he says he cant look them up without that number. I didnt know there was a diffrent ttb for a 95 ranger. Its not a hybred 28/35, wrong year. is there a diffrent version .
 
well what parts do you need anyway, they should be able to look up the parts you need
 
Different version? Maybe if yo got lucky and got a d44 ;missingteeth;

It'll be a Dana 35, 27 spline, reverse rotation, with most likely 3.73 gearing, if the rear axle tag is there, it'll show your ratio, and that will match the front.

What parts do you need?
 
originally after son was driving and wheel bearing went out I thought it destoyed everything. but, It looks like I only need stub axle, and another set of conversion nuts. plus new bearings. Do I need to have races in hub pressed out? also having trouble getting races of the hub/spindle .
