On February 4th I'm leaving for basic training. When I get back I get half of my signing bonus :yahoo:! I plan on finishing the ranger, buying a fox body, and putting some money in the 66 impala I get from my dad. But, I don't know what all to do to the ranger. I wanna get all new springs, shocks, a body lift, some 32's maybe 33's and the obvious paint job. I love wheeling it, but don't do it a lot. I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions for what I should do.

ten grand, but i'm setting only about 2g aside for the truck.

lucky you. i leave february 17th for basic. i dont get a signing bonus though. just what i get for normal pay durin basic

Off Topic: How long are you going to be gone for basic?

On Topic: If you don't do a lot of wheeling, then I'd go for the bigger tires and lift. Save the actual "wheel" accessories for when you want to get into it.

9 weeks for basic, and 10 weeks 1 day for AIT. So you think just the lift and tires?

When I put the explorer leafsprings in I know that's going to put the rear end up quite a bit. What should I do to give the front a slight lift? I'm going to put new springs in the front too, along with shocks so I know it'll sit higher than it does now, but what else? I was also planning on a coil spacer (one that fits below the coil). Is that a good plan or no?
