I sure hope someone out there can help.I have a 2000 Ranger 4x4 with a 3.0 automatic.I think the transmission is suposed to be a 4r44e for this motor combination.Well the thing is the trans. works great except when it shifts from second to third gear.It just for a split second kinda like slips but if you take it easy you can't even tell.If your giving it a lot of gas it's very noticable.I did a trans. service and put Lucas back in to.It seemed to help but it still slips a little.All the other gears are fine. The truck had been sitting for about 2 years prior to me buying it.I really like this truck a lot but I don't have the money to take it to a tranny shop and them just say it needs a rebuild.Is there a chance there is just something simple I can do? Thanks for taking the time to read this.
