I have an 89 ranger 4x4 thats a factory highrise. I just had the driver side front axel snap above the u-joint!!!! I replaced it and got to thinking... would it be wise to weld the shit out of the u joints in the front end to strenghten it? I understand that the front diveshafts are total SHIT
