hey guys i also posted this in the 2wd suspension forum as well, just thought id post here too.

i have 31's on my bone stock 08 ranger xl
i was gunna get the camburg 5.5" kit for my truck
and what i was really wondering is if the 5.5" lift will look retarted with the 31" tires? camburg reccomends 31" tires, but i dont know how it would look...

or should i go with the fabtech 3" with the 31's?

if anyone has pictures or anything that would be great.

thanks,
eric

It won't look retarded, I am so jealous. Haha. I want that camburg kit, but the fabtech set is more in my price range. RangerJustin, how do the spindle lifts perform? I am gunna grab a set for my 02 edge.

ranger justin..

how many inches in that add a leaf you put on?

and where did you get the spindles and add a leaf from?
i might just go fabtech for now cuz its waaaaaaaaaay cheaper

I ran doetsch spindles actually, and was quite abusive on them with never a problem. I know the guy who is has them now and he is even more abusive on them and still never a problem. the AAL gave maybe 1.5", but with the 3.25 BS on the my wheels the rear fender was getting torn up so tossed on the shackle for another 2".

got the spindles at sporttrucksuspension.com they are located in anahiem i believe. not sure what their pricing is anymore, but i bought them for $300 brand new.

the camburg kit will perform better just to let you know. they are designed for even more abuse. the spindles work fine though. what type of offroading will you be doing?

You would be fine with the spindles then. Doubt you will be jumping the truck at the dunes...at least not too much.
