I'm planning out my next big audio project and was wondering if anyone has installed a Pioneer AVIC-F700BT headunit in their ranger? I know I've read on these forums that double din can be modified to fit I was just curious to see how it looks and performs? If anyone has an image of that head unit installed or a similiar double din I'd appreciate seeing how it looks.

got mine last saturday... god i love that thing!!! mounts perfect with a little trim here and a little trim there you have to get the metra double din mounting kit and screw the kit to the radio and trim out your hole in your face plate a littl eon top and a little on bottom that is what i did,,,, took 3 minutes with a rotozip

tussery, which model metra kit did you use? the last one i did i had to cut up a schoshe kit to make it work. The f700 and 900s come with a bt mic thats easily flush mounted into the dash bezel. so how well does it play dvds? (kidding)

I've had one for a while and love it, great features (minus no DVD player) and easy to hack into, overall very happy. Don't forget to update the software, made boot up way faster.

i used the metra 95-5600 fit perfectly it was the truck hole that needed trimming and hey i didnt get no bluetooth mic with mine.. is it a option???
