i have a recently deceased 3.0 v6 ranger w/ an a4ld tranny, 4wd. i am considering rebuilding the 3.0 to a 3.3 stroker. my question is if i build up my motor will my tranny hold up to the added stress? ive read up on the info page and read around the forum and noticed that the a4ld has strength and reliability issues as far as added power is concerned. really want a response on this b4 i spend the money to rebuild my motor, that way i dont waste my money on the motor when i could be buying a bigger/better engine/tranny combo. thanks for the time and consideration on this.
