now i assume you would just have the appropriate brackets lines and steering box.

i have 1990 base ranger s with a 2.3l 2wd and it did not come with it and i have always wanted to have ps i know the xlts with a l4 came with ps so
i assume it would be as easy as finding the bracket pump and box off the xlt
and bolting it up.

any pointers if someone has already done this or is going to would be appreciated.

thanks
bill in indy

youll need the brackets, pump, belt, lines, box, and pitman arm all from a 2wd 2.3L truck. it should all bolt right in.

Yup, I did this on the Chevy. It's exactly the same issues.

You may be able to use a smaller steering wheel if you want to (you'll like that in parking lots), but obviously the one you have now works.

Do keep in mind that you WILL need to align the truck when you're done.
