a4ld problems

O.K. here it is . I run 31x10.5s on my truck. tranny shifts fine, but i run 3500 rpm going 60 mph, and sometimes when going up a hill the tranny downshifts a couple of times getting up. what's the problem, or is it suppost to do that?

3500 at 60?? What kinda gears you running?? sounds like first off its no going into over drive or lockup..probably not going into lockup.

The downshift cable could be to tight or you could possibly have a bad tps or vacuum to modulator could be weak.

I'm running 3.73 gears, But yeah I think something is wrong.

By the way, the truck only shifts 3 times. It should grab another gear in od, right? The truck used to be a 5spd, but the guy i bought it from put the a4ld in it
