Well, this is gonna be my last shot at resurrecting my Ranger from the dead. I can land a sweet deal on a complete 2001 Sport Trac (4.0 v6), does anybody know if the drive train and ECU will be a direct swap over?

By the way, I'll be parting the rest of the vehicle out when I get done with it.
 
Biggest issue will be the upper intake clearance to the heater box. The SOHC engine as a returnless fuel system so you'll have to swap over the fuel lines and likey the fuel tank. Most everything else should be relatively straight forward.
 
Isn't the ECU tied in with the PATS system, ABS, airbags, and etc.

You might wanna look into that.
