what Rear do i have?

hey guys! i cant figure out what rear end i have in my truck! i called FORD and gave them the numbers off my DIFF tag and they cant look it up. my truck is an 04 ranger XLT X cab i wanna know what gear ratio i have and also if its "limited slip"
 
If you have a FX4 Level II then you have a 31 spline 8.8.

How do you have 4.56 gears and not know what rear end you have?
 
He must have bought the truck lifted with the gears.

truck had a 4'' superlift in it b4 i purchased it, kid took the lift for his new ranger he bought off the show floor, so i got shafted :( thats why i asked, did my truck come with 410's? or 456's...all i saw in the write up was i had an 8.8 (the kid put in the 456's after market, im considering putting in a 4'' back in it) i wanna know what my factory gear ratio WAS)

Your sig shows that you've got 4.56's.......
 
read the axle code on the drivers door sticker or read the axle tag on the diff cover to find out the stock gearing.
