2000 2.5L what kind of timing belt does it take i was going to buy a new belt and while i had the belt off get a cam pulley from Esslinger to advance and retard the timing but is it round or square tooth?

Round tooth. While you are at it, you might want to consider replacing the timing belt pulley. Or anything else that might go bad (oil pump, water pump, etc.).
