I went to start my ranger after it sitting a few months.. the throttle stuck.. and she roared to life but then cut out like on a kill switch. I guess it hit the rev limiter and she died??? It won't even click when I turn the key .... I guess there's no power going to the starter. Could the tach be seized or somethin cause it's still reading 8000 rpm (maxed out) funny thing was after she cut out the tach needle was still getting higher and stopped at the pin...and still she sits like that. I tried disconnecting the batt, but no difference.
