Code p1838

Can anyone tell me what relay in relay box1 under dash is the shift relay.Not shift modual. Its one of the relays in the black box under the dash. I have yet to find ANYONE that has a diagram indicating what relay does what. I am chasing down a code p1838 and I need to know what relay is what. I have no power to the brown wire and it tracks back to the shift relay in the relay box1.Thanks t35

not to sure what to in this case, I personally would have the code erased and see if it comes back

4 wheel drive dosn't work. I ran the codes and came up with P1838 circuit mal. . Ford pinpoint tests for that code is check for power on brn wire at harness. Did that and no power. Next step was replace shift relay in relay box1. I've yet to find anyone even FORD to tell me wich relay does what in the relay box. I need to check the circuit power in relay and out. Thanks t35

Nobody has ever had this code or needed to access the relay box#1.
