I've got the BFGs. I've gotten about 50,000 on a heavy explorer and they're just about gone.
While dramatically better than the goodyears they replaced, I wouldn't call them the best AT I've ever driven on. My biggest annoyance is the very "square" shoulder. While great at biting soft terrain off-road, they tend to really suck you into whatever snow they hit. For instance, while driving down a somewhat clear road, if the passenger tires drift to an area where there is snow on the pavement, you have to correct really hard to avoid getting sucked in. Now all tires do this to an extent, but this tread pattern is the worst I've tried.
As far wet traction, they're not perfect, but as good as or better than a lot of tires out there.
Other than that I have no real complaints and think they're great tires off road. I just don't like them much in the snow.
