my friend just got new shocks and said i can have his old ones. The thing is his shocks were for a 4 inch lift and my truck is stock. If i put them on my truck will it mess any thing up?
 
They might bottom out becasue you don't have the extra suspension height to properly fit them.

I would assume your truck will handle similarly to when guys lower their rangers and retain the stock height shocks. The shocks will always be fighting the springs and bottom out prematurely.
