High/low beam mod

Has anyone tried this mod where you take the relay and wire it up so the low beams stay on with the high beams? How did it work and have you had any problems like melting wires or melting lamp housing?>
 
i did last year had to replace a light but no problems as far as wires or any thing . the light was old so that had some thing to do with that. works good
 
good i think im going to do that today. how long did it take you?
