Today I'm buying a 2004 Ranger Super Cab, Edge. It has 57K miles and I'm planning to give it a complete going over,..oil change, coolant change, fuel filter, transmission oil change, brakes, etc. Is there anything else I need to do?

welcome! your in san francisco? i just moved from pacifica, just below frisco to southern oregon...goin down to frisco to visit next week, miss it a lot. congrats on the buy...as far as 60k you should be good with that i think....everything electronic work on it?
 
Yep,..in San Francisco. Just waiting for the truck to get back to the dealer after detailing. I miss my old Mazda B2300,..so this should be an improvement.
