Hey guys, in the title I meant 2.3 Liter not 2.4 I just found out from the Ford Manufacturer (My mom works there , for now....) that the air system for the Ford 3.0 is the exact same for the 2.3 ltr. I just last night installed a k & N Fuel Injector Performance Kit / Air Intake system for a 3.0 on my 2.3. I only had to make one adjustment, which was very easy.
From the caterpillar, I had to use the original elbow piece, cut in half (with small yard shears) to get the aftermaket pipe to fit. The piece ( a small cuff to fit over the caterpillar) was way to small. So, I cut the original elbow in half and used some good old dish soap and inserted the aftermarket pipe into the factor elbow. This system is awesome on a 2.3. Just wanted to share!! I will post pics as soon as my daughter is done taking pics!!
