I just got called back to General Electric where I worked and got laid of in the middle of November!!:yahoo::yahoo: I was running New Britain screw machines but I'll be running VMC's now:headbang: It's a temp job but I'll take it. Funny thing is I called the agency yesterday and they said they had no work what so ever......they called back 10 minutes ago. I start Monday.

Nice, it's always to have work, especially in these times. I need me one of them job things now too...
 
Congrats, in these hard times it's good to hear when someone finds work. I'm concerned about my job these days, I am a systems analyst for a CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING software company.
 
Happy for you man! I been laid off from Ford since Dec. 15. Was supposed to go back on Feb.2, but now it's been pushed back to Feb. 18.....maybe even later..:annoyed:

Me too, maybe 3 weeks before I got laid off my 3 month probation period ended a week after the company put a hiring freeze on. I was so close, but I probably would have been laid off anyways, but hopefully I can turn this into a full time job too.
