Sounds like the tranny in my brother's S-10 is going, and he's looking for a decently priced/trustworthy mechanic in the area.

I think trustworthy is probably more important than price, but that's just me

Check Xtreme Automotive.They guy Kerry that runs it is a pro and the best price in town and he will not BS you.I use him for my Ranger and he's never done me wrong! He DOES beat any price I've found so far and everyone of his staff is ASE Cert. His prices are usually half of everyone else!
